Old Testament…New Ideas (Jelly Telly’s Books of the Bible Series)

The folks over at Jelly Telly are working their way through a kids sized explanation of the books of the Old Testament.  For those who don’t know, Jelly Telly is Phil Vischer’s (creator of Veggietales) new home.  These videos use both The Fabulous Bentley Brothers and Sunday School Lady to teach us about the books of the Old Testament.  The videos are great for kids, children’s ministry and adults.  Thanks to Tony Kummer over at for turning me on to these.  Here’s Genesis through Nehemiah:

  • This blog (which was actually posted on March 30, but since this is the 1st Blog Patrol I thought I would include it) is based on one of my favorite books of all times – C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters.   This is Trevin Wax’s take on what Screwtape might say about the current state of the Southern Baptist Convention.  Although addressed to one denomination, I think some of the truths from the post are applicable to many churches today.
