Northridge vs. Harvest Prep
Today was kind of a bittersweet day as Lyndsey finished up her high school basketball career. While losing 48-36 in the is not the way she would have wanted to finish, she led her team in scoring again this afternoon with 13 points and well over 10 rebounds to finish this crazy season averaging a double-double across all games. She also set another school record (her third over the last two years) finishing with a season free throw average of 81%. It has been a difficult season for a number of reasons (none of which were within her control), but she has persevered as senior captain with integrity, drive and a desire to make her team better. Through everything that has been thrown at her, she has never wavered, come out much stronger because of it and, most importantly, refused to compromise who she is and what she stands for. As her Dad, I couldn’t be more proud, and as this season ends, I can’t wait to see what the next season in her life brings!
