Since my birthday is coming up this week, I thought I would post a song which has become very special to me in my spiritual journey. Matthew West’s “The Motions” constantly reminds me the a should strive for God and his kingdom with all that I have. Whenever I start to feel comfortable with where I am spiritually, this song reminds me that I can always be doing more to bring glory to God’s name.
I have quickly become a fan of the group Go Fish. There songs are meant for children but are enjoyable for adults as well. That makes it perfect music to listen to on long road trips. In this particular video, they put the ten commandments to a catchy toon.
This great song from Hillsong Kids speaks to kids about the importance and benefits of putting Jesus first in their lives. The songs itself is catchy and is sure to be a hit with kids.
I was looking for something special for Mother’s Day tomorrow when I remembered this song from Go Fish. So, this one is for all you Mother’s out there who do one of the hardest jobs on this planet tirelessly and without complaining, and especially for my wife. I love you.
From Mercy Me comes this great little song to remember the Ten Commandments. The video itself isn’t much (just lyrics on colored background), the song itself is a great tool for kids and adults alike to remember the Ten Commandments.
As we begin this new year, it is a great time to take stock of our lives. As a Christian, that means remembering what Jesus did for us. This wonderful song from Jeremy Camp and scenes from “The Passion of the Christ” helps to drive that point home. (WARNING: Some of the scenes from the movie included in this video are graphic and not meant for young children.)
