The Music of Unspoken [Kidmin Conference 2014]

It’s a great night for music at the Kidmin Conference (though most nights are, so that isn’t a real surprise). Next up on the playlist was the band Unspoken. I was moved and inspired by their song “Lift My Life Up.” And their final song, “Who Are You” is such a great message of hope in the grace of God. I guess it’s a good thing I stocked up on iTunes gifts cards!

The Music of Lindsay McCaul [Kidmin Conference 2014]

Lindsay McCaul was another artist I was introduced to at this year’s Kidmin Conference. She only performed two songs, but were top notched. Her song “One More Step” is a beautiful recounting of an earthly father’s encouragement and love.

Designing The Surge…Greg Baird [Kidmin Conference 2014]

Greg is an awesome guy, and it was great to hear him speak from the “big stage.”

Who loves superheroes?

What superhero would you be?

What superpower would you have?

We are not superheroes, but we are still in a battle. We are in a battle against evil spirits and mighty powers in this dark world. When we are in ministry, the battle becomes more intense and the target on us becomes bigger from the enemy.

We cannot surge ahead if we get knocked down or taken out of the battle. We are in a battle for the hearts and souls for the most vulnerable people on the face of the earth. We have to make sure we can stay in the battle.
