PUT ON LOVE – Seeds Family Worship

Wayne —  May 20, 2011 — 27 Comments

At Dad in the Middle, we were excited to be a small part of the blog tour for the new album Seeds of Character from Seeds Family Worship.  We wrote more about it this past Monday.  We were selected to premiere the video for the song Put on Love based on the verses Colossians 3:12 & 14a:

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, and above all these put on love.

So, without further introduction, here is the world premiere of Put on Love:

Here’s the great news, our excitement can help you too.  Seeds has been kind enough to offer a free set of all six of their CDs:

All you have to win is leave a comment below explaining why you like Seeds Family Worship or how you would use the CDs in your ministry.  I will close entries on the last day of the blog tour (May 31) and pick a random winner.  If you can’t wait, go the Seeds Family Worship Store and use the code CMCONNECT on checkout to receive 20% off your order of CDs.

  1. We LOVE, love, love Seeds around here! I plan on getting a set of CDx for each of our Dream Team kids for next year. Dream Team is our children’s worship leader group. Keep writing, Jason! We are gettin’ blessed out here! – LA for the Wayne family

  2. I’ve had such an incredible experience working with SEEDs music. I worked with 1st and 2nd graders on Sunday morning as part of their Sunday school class. SEEDS music accompanied with hand motions really kept the kids attention and they learned scripture; we planted seeds that they wouldn’t forget. 2 years later, I taught some of the same girls in our AWANA program, and they still remembered the songs…it was awesome! Music helped these children learn their verses and they were happy while they were doing it. Thank You! God is so Good!

  3. We love Seeds Family Worship cd’s in our house because it not only teaches our children Scripture, but helps us as parents hide God’s Word in our hearts too!

  4. I like Seeds Family Worship because it involves the whole family from even the littlest (like my 2 year old) to me (the adult). I love the way the songs are presented- very upbeat and easy to memorize!

  5. Love the Scripture put to music. Makes it very easy for the kids to remember – gets in their heads and their hearts!

  6. We love SFW at our house too from the baby on up. What a great way to store God’s Word in our hearts and fight sin!!

  7. We have some of their CDs and I enjoy how my son sings the songs and the lyrics are in my heart and thoughts through the day. I like that they came straight from the Bible.

  8. I love Seeds because my whole family has scripture running through our heads throughout the day. I can just say one word of a verse and my kids sing the rest of it to me. It’s so encouraging!

  9. Our whole family loves Seeds! We homeschool and it is awesome that we have verses in the background all day while we work.

  10. I have recently been introduced to Seeds Family Worship. It is my privileged to be a wife, mother of 3 children, and a Children’s Ministry Director at my church. I have been trying to guide my own children and the children at my church to develop Godly character: Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man. I hope to get all the Seeds Music and use it to help us do just that!

  11. What a wonderful group of songs/albums. I remember listening to bible tapes as a child, while going to bed…and while we’ve done that in our home, music is so much more powerful. Equipping this generation of young men to serve Him – our constant ministry, as the parents of 4 boys. :-)

  12. Honestly, this is my first introduction to the Seeds music. As a homeschooling mom, I would use these as part of our Bible/worship/ and music curriculum.

  13. I would love to win the Seeds CD’s! We’ve recently been introduced to them and I have encouraged my Children’s Ministry to invest in them!

  14. We would definitely use these CDs in both our ministry. Our greatest ministry is with our own two children at home, but we also work with other toddlers at our church would love these CDs. Thank you so much for the giveaway.

  15. We have the first 4 Seeds CDS – and I LOVE how easy it is to plant God’s Word in my children’s hearts with the CDs!!! The first time my son started singing along, he was about 18 months old. I cried tears of joy, knowing that he was hearing God’s Word and taking it all in! I’ve memorized so many verses from these songs, too – they are fabulous!

  16. I love Seeds worship. We listen to them in the car and my 3 and 5 year old are learning Scripture. I love it.

  17. Seeds Worship is really great! A blessing to hear people encouraging children to walk in the light, and put on love!

I just stumbled on this group from Homeschool Creations and fell in love with them:) What a blessing it would be to win this. We love using music to learn scripture. This seems to make it far less tedious and it really STICKS with them and with me too!! Thanks for the chance.

  19. I would absolutely love to win these to plant the word of God in my girls’ hearts! It sticks with them so well this way, but I currently only know a few songs to teach scripture to them. I know even the verses I learned in this manner as a child are still firmly engrained in my thoughts! I might also use them with the kids in our church:). Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway!

  20. I was recently introduced to Seeds Family Worship through a christian homeschooling blog. I love the songs, they are very catchy and easy for young children to learn the importance of God’s word. I would use these with my boys during our homeschool time!

  21. We are preparing to move into our first permanent facility (currently rent a movie theater for Sunday mornings). We are planning to reach the community in a renewed way and this could be a tool as we reach out to the neighborhood children.

  22. Congratulations to Tami H who proved the old adage, “Better late than never.” Her entry at 12:03 on the final day of contest was randomly selected by Random.org as the winner of the complete catalog of Seeds CDs. Thank you all for entering and for visiting Dad in the Middle. Thanks once again to Seeds Family Worship for allowing us to debut one of their songs from this wonderful album.

Tami, you will hear from me shortly by e-mail to get your information!

  23. Hiding the word in our hearts is just so imperative to impress in the children’s hearts and minds. Our new church plant would greatly benefit from these CDs!
