Esther and Freddie Mercury (aka Purim Will Rock You!)

A couple of months ago an old friend who now lives in Israel announced that she needed to adapt the story of Esther to the queen tune “We Will Rock You.” The following popped into my head and I sent it to her, but I thought I would share it here as well:

Haman you’re a sham.  You’re a bad bad man.
Build a stockade gonna try to hang Mordecai some day
You’ve got no sign of grace
You’re a big disgrace

Now, Esther is a Jew and gonna get you.
